Robinson grows and collects dye plants in Horton Bay, Michigan. She teaches art North Central Michigan College, including classes in textiles, ceramics, color and design, where she is thrilled to share her passion for fibers, the environment and natural color. Shanna earned an MFA and a BFA from Eastern Michigan University. She continues to study, taking classes and workshops from experts in the field of natural dyes.
